CCEP (Coca Cola European Partners) released the new flavour in time for the Christmas period to capitalise on the autumn trend and appeal to flavoured coffee drinkers.
The drinks are part of an already popular ‘Read-to-Drink’ category which is growing 32%
The 250ml can already comes in flavours of; Espresso & Milk and Vanilla Espresso. The cans will be supported by PoS materials and also available in PM cans of £1.99 which they are also to be retailed at.
Vice president of commercial development at CCEP, Simon Harrison, said: “The Salted Caramel flavour profile is already popular with consumers in coffee shops and across other food and drink categories.
